SPECIFICATION OF COACHWORK.

FOUR DOOR CLOSE COUPLED SPORTS SALOON.

BENTLEY MODEL "A".

CHASSIS. Bentley Model "A", Steering Type "E". Untarnishable finish throughout. 18ins. rims. 5.500ins. tyres. Full details of the chassis are given on the drawings supplied.

BODY. Close coupled four door sports saloon with sunshine roof see N.S.h.3511.

SEATING. Four Seater. Two sliding bucket seat in front. Rear seat to take two, with folding centre armrest and outside armrests on the doors. Cushions and squabs to be to the dimensions given.

FRAMING. Body to be very lightly framed in English Ash, and built with sheet steel wheel arches made up by the coachbuilder of steel .056ins thick.

DOORS. Four doors to open at right angles hinged on the centre pillar, and having metal door stops. Doors to be light and thin. Dropping windows of .187ins. Triplex.

HEAD. Head to be covered in straight grained fabric to suit the paintwork. Every precaution to be taken to avoid "booming" and "drumming". Pytchley Sunshine Roof to be fitted which is to be flush all over when closed.

WINDSCREEN. Single piece and fixed. Triplex .187ins. thick. Dual electrical screen wiper.

SCUTTLE VENTILATORS. Louvres on scuttle to match those on bonnet with interior slide.

WINGS. Front and rear wings to be finished as far as possible and finally fitted by Derby. Front wings to be 14S.W.G. in centre and 16. S.W.G. at sides in alum. No stone gaurds are needed. Rear wings to be in 16. S.W.G. alum. Front wings to be flexibly attached to the sheet metal running board. Step to be metal covered and to have a strip rubber tread.

FLOORS. Rear floor with sheet metal wells and tunnel to be complete with sponge rubber and carpet. Floor in front to be boarded only up to the front of the front seats. Sufficient sponge rubber and carpet to be
