x7960. AT JAN 1931 RECEIVED S/W. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}9/KW16.1.31. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has mentioned to me that you are anxious to get hold of a Phantom I secondhand car for some experimental work in connection with spring tests to do with America. We have at the present time a secondhand Phantom I - 86-FH - which is already licenced and which is not in use at the moment. It is fitted with an Enclosed-drive Limousine body with division onthe Weymann principle with fabric panels, and it is hoped that you may consider this car satisfactory for the purpose, as all the other secondhand cars on our list have been done up for sale. In the event of the body of the above car not being heavy enough for you no doubt you could use ballast to bring up the weight to the required total. If you would please let me know if this car would suit you could have it straight away, if necessary. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
