Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} copy Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} "" DH.{D. Henderson - Showroom} x)7960. PN.{Mr Northey}1/PH.14.1.31. RECEIVED 14 JAN 1931 129-GN. This car was sent to you by Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s wish because we felt that its roughness and toque reaction had considerably increased during the car's use recently, and it was considered desirable to give you an opportunity of exploring these points on this car. Meanwhile, we are greatly starved for demonstration cars in London and I hoped to hear that some improvement had been effected, but I gathered from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} on the telephone yesterday that, as far as he was aware, this car had not been actually worked on. Appointments have been made for this car on Saturday/Friday next, so that it should reach us some time on Friday, and I hope that some effort will be made to render it more suitable for its purpose.
