7th July 1937.

Mr Grills,
Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
Derby.

Dear Mr Grills,

Mr Hudlass has been appointed official Scrutineer for the 12 Hour Sports Car Race to be held on the Donington Park Motor Race Course on July 24th. As he points out, there are a lot of details to attend to, and he has particularly asked me to get your kind assistance for the Friday, which is the day appointed for scrutineering. If you are not able to attend could you possibly depute two able assistants.

On the day of the Race we shall be short of Pit Attendants, and should, therefore, be extremely grateful if you, or your assistants, would volunteer to help us out.

Thanking you in anticipation of a favourable reply.

Yours faithfully,

p.p. F.G. Craner.

Secretary.
