SEMI EXPANDING CARBURETTERS.

From time to time we have introduced various
improvements which have been incorporated on standard production
cars. At the samt time we have been making Peregrine and
J.III. carburetters but the drawings of these have not been
brought up to date, the result being that they suffer from
the original faults inherent in the carburetter. Will you
please arrange to bring these other carburetters up to date
so that we can avoid manufacturing obsolete parts. Attached
is a modification to prevent air lock on the carburetter
at present on production. This fault has shewn itself in an
elusive manner on several production cars, and in every case
V.1541 has effected a cure. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} is satisfied that the
modification overcomes this troubles.
