Since carrying out these repairs we have not adjusted the brakes, but a careful check will be made next time the car comes into the garage. From the figures we have shewn it will be seen that the wear in notches is front 3, rear 8, which is very unequal. Since writing this report, we have had a further chance to check the brakes at speedometer reading 13628 and we find that during the last 1,934 miles which owing to weather conditions has been covered at reduced speed the brake wear has been 1 notch per drum front and rear Car weight 36 cwts. 0 q. 14 lbs. | ||
