Messrs. The Dunlop Rubber Co.,
Aston Cross,
Birmingham.

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. W. Bond.

We understand that you have been endeavouring to get into telephonic communication with our Experimental Dept. We assume that it is with reference to the recent pair of straight sided tyres you fitted last week to our experimental Car. Unfortunately, the weather, during the past week, has not been suitable for testing out these tyres to the extent we should wish before giving a definite report. We can go so far, however, and say that a definite improvement has taken place with regard to noise and we should like the Car fitted with a complete set of these tyres.
Would it be necessary to send the Car to Birmingham for this purpose, or could you despatch 2 Covers to our Works? We look upon this matter ourselves as being quite urgent and will lose no time at this end so as to get a full report to you at the earliest possible moment.

Yours faithfully,
