R.R. 348A (100 H) (W 603. 27.6.11). E.P. 9275. DEPARTMENTAL MEMO. Issued 3rd October 1911 This column is for Name of Person addressed. Mr. Johnson DATE. RECEIVED OCT 9 1911 (3) say, we might get Mr Spinney from Derby to consult with one of the body draughtsmen and practical carriage builders, to study as to the possibility of carrying out these ideals and to find out what are the objections. C.J. I think Mr. Royce is right from a theoretical point of view as regards doors for Limousine but from a practical point of view it is a difficult matter to design. If I remember 18 months to two years back I brought up the matter of same means of mounting the body to the chassis by triple suspension or spring buffers or some such means. I have but recently F.H.R. This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
