This battery was removed from chassis 8-EX for bench tests to be taken after having run 13377 miles. On low rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.80 ohm, 64.0 ampere-hours were realised, and all cells shewed positive weakness on the cadmium test. Following a full charge a high rate discharge through a constant external resistance of .100 ohm was taken. Initial amperes = 109.0 Time to 104 " = 7.5 mins. " " 100 " = 12.2 " " " 90 " = 15.2 " " " 80 " = 18.0 " All cells shewed negative weakness on the cadmium tests. On both the above tests the Exide cells were slightly better in capacity than the P & R cells. DELIVRE R.R. Card No Maker Order No Customer's Order No Date EFC {E.
