| X 262 W/S - Bly.{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}23/KW.20.8.36. Many thanks for yours of the 19th August. I am glad we are credited with 140 M.P.H. on the Bentley; if we lap Brooklands at 110 I shall be very satisfied. At the same time I will have a bet that we are faster than the 4 1/2 litre Lagondas in the T.T. With regard to the H.P. of the new 4 litre Lagonda, unless we produce a Continental Bentley I do not know how we can compete. We have no H.P. up our sleeve for the next twelve months.
