X4240 Mr Shelton from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c.Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [struck through] c.SPT. [struck through] BY2-P24.8.22. In view of the fact that Mr Royce's improved radiator seems some distance off at the moment, I do not see any alternative but to increase the number of radiators we have given permission to order, from 50 to 100. The Works also must not forget to inform us when they consider that even this number must be increased, as we do not propose to hold up the chassis on account of radiators. The foregoing decision also affects the Water Connections, which will continue to the same Part List number as at present, so long as the Radiator remains unaltered. BY.{R.W.
