I am glad the demonstration interested you and Mr. Robotham, and, whilst talking about this demonstration, you will be interested to hear that the explanation of the slightly worse running obtained when Mr. Robotham tried the car was because the pipe union connecting the intake manifold to the vacuum advance diaphragm had unscrewed, allowing too much air to enter the manifold at low engine speeds. I am interested to hear that you are carrying out similar tests on one of your 25/30 chassis, and I do hope that you will keep me in touch with any developments, so that we can continue to swap ideas. With reference to the dozen A.C. sparking plugs, I am asking Mr. Stockbridge to forward these to you, and I have no doubt, therefore, you will see them in a day or so. With kindest regards, Yours very sincerely, [Illegible Signature] Managing Director. [Handwritten in left margin] RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
