X.4021. WATFORD SP.{Mr Spinney}12-2 (IS.12) MAGNETOS
NOS. 83119/20.

At Messrs. North's request this pair of magnetos
(which have been earmarked for the next "H" engine type test)
were returned to them for the purpose of fitting to
them new and up-to-date armatures with improved winding.

These machines have now been received back
again and duly bench tested. The performance has been
considerably improved by the alteration of winding
particularly at low speeds. The low speed performance
is now better than similar apparatus of the B.T.H. machines.

The machines are available in our laboratory
when required for the Type Test.
