Dear Sirs, For the attention of Major Searight. With reference to your letter of the 15th. inst. We are still quite unable to understand how you anticipate, with our unusual good methods of tank ventilation, that abnormal pressure can be built up in the tank, so blowing the dashboard unit of your gauge. Mr. Royce does not like this vent pipe which he considers is unsightly and he cannot see the necessity for it. Therefore, if we cannot get your agreement to dispense with it, we are in a rather awkward position. Yours faithfully, | ||
