EFC. X.4253 RE POSITION OF BRAKE LEVER - "GOSHAWK II".

[STAMP: ORIGINAL]
[STAMP: RECEIVED 25 FEB 1921]

It is desired to move the brake lever handle approximately 2" backward from the position shown on Loc.1351, keeping the brake lever fulcrum position unaltered for "Goshawk II".
The dimension actually that should be worked to for this brake lever position is 10" from the dash to the top of the lever, as in sketch.
The object of this move is to enable the driver to more easily reach the brake lever with the "D" seat, and to facilitate the removal of the floorboards.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
