+407 W/S. C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}7/LG18.6.24. RE. MERCEDES CAR. +407 I was hoping that the Mercedes car you were obtained for us was one of their actual racing cars. We do not expect, of course, one of their very recent racing models but last year they were racing in America with cars fitted with a Super Charger. We think it would also be worth while enquiring to see whether they have made a 28/95 HP. fitted with a special Super Charger. They may have made some for speed speed events. As the price is so stiff we want to be sure we are getting something useful and I certainly think that we ought to have a chance of seeing any car before you decide to buy it. It would appear better to obtain the complete car because otherwise we should have to fit a body ourselves and there would be difficulty in getting one suitable. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
