To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. c. BY/RD. X4/20 EFC5/T28.4.25. X.8620. EAC. STARTER MOTOR. This will confirm our conversation of yesterday that the third EAC. motor which you are making up, which presumably we shall call C, will have the reduced size of pole core in accordance with an alteration issued by BY/RD. as a result of our EFC1/T14.1.25. At the same time it will have 17 SWG teazer winding, and if convenient in other respects, what we consider electrically the best disposition of the main and teazer windings, in which the teazer winding is near to the pole tips and the main winding near to the carcase, i.e. not side by side as in the originally proposed standard to D.70608. We want to get in this motor the complete arrangement we are finally proposing for standard. MADE AT CROXLEY EFC. | ||
