DERBY.

Dear Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer},

Very many thanks for turning up last night at my meeting and contributing to the discussion. I am sorry I could not look in on you this morning but I had to get back to London.

I would be grateful if you could let me have some typical valve closing velocities for OHV engines and also, if you have them, for side valve jobs.

I will be exceedingly interested to have the results of all your tests on cars and will certainly keep those concerning your jobs, and any others you may wish, strictly within this office.

With kind regards, and best wishes to Mrs. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} and yourself for Christmas and the New Year,

Yours sincerely,
Rod Banks
