Chassis 1992 - weight over 47 cwts - has been reported as being very destructive on tyres. Mr Johnson wishes to know whether we can recommend Continental over-size tyres, and if so, whether the rims need be altered. Customer has already used Dunlops, Michelins, Prowodnik's with very poor results.

I certainly think the oversize tyres are worth a trial. The rims need not be altered but the steering stops on the front axle may require slight alteration to prevent the larger section tyre rubbing on the spring and steering tube.
