1180 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}11/JH. 4th December, 1937. Messrs. Ferodo Ltd., Chapel-en-le-Frith. For the attention of Mr. Longly. Dear Sirs, In these works, the name Ferodo has been overshadowed by the American manufacturers from whom we can buy material, pay the duty, still be well in pocket, and have a better material, both for clutches and brakes, than if we bought from you. With a view to remedying this state of affairs, Mr. Robotham thinks that Mr. Longley might care to pay us a visit, and we suggest either Thursday or Friday, the 9th and 10th December at 11.30 p.m. We hope one of these days will be convenient to Mr. Longley, and that he will decide to come. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
