3rd. December 1937.

Messrs. The British Belting & Asbestos Ltd.,
59, Southwark Street,
London S.E.1.

For the attention of Mr. Sisman.

Dear Sirs,

We enclose a print of a servo lining. We would like six such discs in Halo 3L as soon as you can make them. We will send an order for them through our Order Office.

We have a Bentley with a new brake system on which the pedal pressure is rather high. We think we might reduce the pedal pressure slightly by using Halo 3L in the servo. This car is due to go for a 15,000 miles test very shortly and if we could have 3L in the servo the information gained as to it's behaviour would be most valuable. It would be essential to fit the discs to the car fairly soon.

The Phantom III servo linings have given good service, so far.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
