-2- (3) We have instituted the use of a sheet metal battery crossmember in place of the tubular one, of which we sent you a drawing. We are enclosing herewith a print of this revised sheet metal battery box crossmember to enable you to correct your dummy chassis. On the body in question there is a slight foul between the ends of this crossmember and the sheet metal fixed seat board of the rear seat. (4) We have omitted to inform you of a lubricator on the end of the first crossmember at the rear end of the rear springs, and we send herewith a print shewing this, to enable you to put a suitable model of it on the dummy chassis. On the body in question, it has been necessary to notch the inner valance of the sheet metal wheel arch. Any future difficulties which we encounter, we will immediately tell you of. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Car Project Office. | ||
