The cause of 'whip' in a 20 HP Closed Car, attributed to material fitted between the chassis and body.

material between the body and the chassis frame, and that in his opinion it was a disadvantage to do so; with which opinion Mr. Spinney concurred.

(10) With regard to the above paragraph 3, B.J. desired it to be mentioned that it was discovered the whip in the 20 h.p. Closed Car was caused by Hoopers fitting material between the chassis and the body, as EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} and it is thought R.{Sir Henry Royce} also, had recommended.
