The prospect regarding obtaining better cams is certainly brighter than it was previous to the visit of the 9th instant, but all the obstacles have not yet been removed.

I am of the opinion that one of the finish cutting machines could be used for grinding the track by attaching an independent drive grinding head, and I have proved that the accuracy of cutting on soft cams (I refer to lead etc.) is satisfactory, therefore they already possess the most important portion of a temporary grinding machine and Mr.Ronald promised to exploit possibilities of same.

I left our testing rig for their use until tomorrow or Monday, because we have no cams at Derby to try out on it, and they said it would help them.

They have not yet finished the one they are making.
