Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s Car - Cxl1/KW4.11.38.

Referring to your memo Cxl1/KW4.11.38, thinking we could use Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}' car for trial run, we decided to do the timing gear modification to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car, which means the engine coming out of the frame. The car had been stripped before your note arrived. There is no chance of Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car being available for a trial run on Tuesday under these circumstances.

Possibly you would like to give the trial run in Liverpool later on in the week before the car is returned to London.
