RR 238 (150 BKS.) (OB 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 X7690 ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E.7.C Order No.: WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}3. Customer's No.: X7690 X8690 New Standard R.R. contact breaker to LEC 2460 We have now examined the characteristics of this new design by obtaining the make ratio - speed curve, the contact point gap being adjusted to give the standard make ratio of .55 at 700 rpm of the cam. We found this contact breaker functions very well the make ratio remaining almost constant over the whole range of working speeds. This result is almost identical with Delco-Remy and better than U.S.A Bosch as will be seen from a comparison of the make ratio-speed curves. Signed: H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
