Our Inspection Dept. inform me that our stock of pistons on and from the 26.7.38 have been tin-plated and they are at a loss to explain the presence of an un-tinned piston in a stock issue as late as 5.11.38, bearing in mind these facts:- (1) Our stocks were all tin plated by the 26.7.38. (2) Our stock was exhausted by the 24.8.38. (3) Our stock was renewed by W. 27.8.38. under their advice notes W.2075,2245. 2.9.38. which at 2.9.38 would undoubtedly be tin-plated. Pk/KC. | ||
