To By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les.4/KT.14.12.33.

SHOCK DAMPER BELLOWS F.85395.

Will you please change the material of the bellows end piece from "gun-metal" to a "hot brass pressing". E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} has agreed to this, in order to prevent the Packless Gland Co. from rejesting 50% of their production end pieces for porosity.

The Packless Gland Co. should be informed as soon as possible of the change, as it will considerably help them to supply the number of bellows we require.

Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les.
