A BRITISH TIME-SAVING DEVICE.

One Set of 8 “JOY VALVE SPRING SUPPORTS,” Size No. 1, for Ford Cars, 3/- per set.

A Great Boon to Motorists and all users of Internal Combustion Engines.

To use:
(1) Crank Engine and place one support under each spring seat as valves reach their highest points, the angle of each spring support inclining towards you. If spring support does not enter easily under spring seat without pressure, raise valve slightly by lever under head, to either enter or release support.

(2) Turn and press down valves with end of cotter pins facing you, remove cotter pins and lift out valves.

(3) To replace, reverse operations 1 and 2. giving valves one quarter turn, which will centralize cotters.
