For the attention of Mr Rowbotham

Dear Sirs,

ALUMINIUM TIN ALLOY BUSHES

We enclose a tabulated summary of the tests we have carried out on the above bushes. So far the results have not been very promising, and we have held up further testing pending an investigation into the cause of failure of the last two bushes.

We understand that Mr Rowbotham would like to pay us a visit. We suggest that he should come down on any day next week convenient to himself when we would be very glad to see him to discuss questions of mutual interest particularly aluminium tin bearings.

Yours faithfully,
THE BRISTOL AEROPLANE COMPANY LTD.

[Signature of A.H.R. Fedden]
CHIEF ENGINEER.
