Ref. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/W3/E101117.

In reply to yours of the 10th inst, we beg to advise you that the instrument that you have returned to us is not supposed to be used with the shunts you have returned or with the external resistance box.

We should like to know if you are using these shunts and the resistance box with the instrument for which they were originally adjusted, or if we are to change the adjustment to make them suitable for the instrument that you have sent in to us.

Will you kindly advise us upon this point.
