X.3035. X.1482 EFC/AT13.11.17 13.11.17. Messrs. Weston, Electrical Instrument Co., Audrey House, Eley Place, Holborn, London. E.C. X. 178 2 Dear Sirs, With reference to the Millivoltmeter Shunts and Volt Box which we have forwarded to you for adjustment, we believe you are right in saying that the instrument is not the one to which this shunt and this volt box were originally adjusted. However, seeing that the instrument appears to be more satisfactory for standard than the other smaller one, which we have, we should be glad if you will adjust these shunts and the volt box to this instrument as carefully as possible so that we may, on return of these, use the set as our standard of reference for electrical purposes. We have several other ammeters and voltmeters, but we wish to use this set as our standard of comparison, and for very special purposes only. Will you kindly therefore carry out the adjustment and return the set to us at your earliest possible convenience. Yours faithfully, | ||
