With reference to the Daily Report of the 16th July which mentions a fire due to the failure of the flexible pipe; the flexible pipe on this car had an abnormally sharp bend, which appears to have been responsible for the failure.
The matter is receiving attention so that the trouble will be avoided when further high pressure petrol pumps are fitted.
