With reference to your note stating that the internal arm fractured on the rear shock damper after 6,800 miles, we should like to know whether, in your opinion, such heavy damper poundage is necessary. We quite expect you to say the car does not hold the road sufficiently well with maximum damping, but on the other hand, what loss of control is there by cutting down the maximum governor poundage obtained by 25% ?
