FITTING SHORTENED PENDULUM LEVER (9.500) IN CONJUNCTION WITH AXLE CONTROL DAMPER. With reference to our memo' BY/HEB{H. Biraben}18/M16.2.28, it should be noted that the Side Steering Tube therein, is only suitable for Chassis up to the end of "F2" Series, i.e. before Axle Control Dampers were fitted. A slight modification is necessary to the Tube to suit the Axle Control Damper. Herewith please receive one Blue Print of each of the following:- F.78831 Side Steering Tube Arrgt.(9.500 Pendulum Lever). F.78870 Side Steering Tube. 1 off per chassis. for your reference. These are the parts it was proposed to bring in on Production at "F-2-B" Series, but which have since been superseded by 10.000" Pendulum Lever and a new Side Steering Tube. BY/HEB.{H.
