Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}8/MJ.24.8.31. X1583. LUBRICATING OILS. In 1926 we arranged for the L.M.S. Chemists at Derby to do a complete analysis of Price's oil, also Wakefield's XL. Attached herewith is a copy of their report. It will be seen that they state that the fatty oils in Price's are sperm and lard oil. The fixed oil in Wakefield's has the properties of cocoanut Oleine.
