Dear Sirs,

With further reference to our piston EW.2170. This has a .470 bump on the crown.

Will you please prepare 14 pistons having a .360 bump, but similar in every other respect.

It is understood of course that these should be progressed as far as the grinding stage, to await the result of the test on P.461 (split skirt).

We would like you to give these a suitable number for record purposes.

An official order to follow.
