For the attention of Mr. Brooks. Dear Sirs, Many thanks for your letter dated 21st. April. With reference to the four types of experimental pistons mentioned, we think that your idea regarding a preliminary test on 6 pistons for bedding is a good one. It is agreed therefore, that you send us 6 pistons P.461 and hold up grinding on the remainder. Also you will not grind pistons EW.2170 until we have reported on P.461.
