To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to CO. WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [Struck through] HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} [Struck through] ORIGINAL 2 E2/G3/9/21. X4225 RE "GOSHAWK II" CYLINDER PLUGS AND MODIFICATIONS. We send you herewith drawing Lec. 1440 shewing the required modification to the detail of the cylinder block. We have reduced the variety of plugs of a standard pattern used on the work to two only. They are to be in mild steel, but are intended for tightening by means of a pin spanner. This type of plug appears to be better than any other previously considered for use on the cylinder block. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
