seems better to have tube below transmission line. starter handle shaft is always in P. 2. because of buffers. I have no dimensions, but think this may be useful.

JAPAN DESIGNS ARE NOT SIMPLE ENOUGH FOR ECONOMICAL PRODUCTION MUST FIND OTHER SCHEMES. GEARBOX NEEDS MAYBACH JAWS AND SIMPLER REVERSE. ENGINE SIDE ARMS SHOULD DELETE TUBULAR CONSTRUCTION AND GENERALLY SIMPLER. NO SPRING DRIVE NEEDED IF TIMING GEAR AT REAR THEN DAMPER QUITE SIMPLE.
