NS{Norman Scott} 100 Banbury Road, Oxford. Jan. 27th 1934. WST x6033* Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., Derby. For the attention of Mr. Wormald. Dear Sir, I am the owner of an oldish 30 HP car (Chassis No GSK.74), and possessing a flair for ideas and a certain constructive skill, I have carried out a number of additions and modifications to the car, notably electric oil and petrol gauges by means of which the readings of the petrol gauge on the tank at the rear and also the readings of the oil level indicator fitted to the side of the crankcase are transferred to two instruments on the dashboard. Originally I only made these gauges for my own amusement and instruction but they have been so successful in operation that it has been suggested to me that your Company might be interested to see them. | ||
