We are sending to you by the quickest
route one of the lower halves of the main bearings removed
from the engine of the above car which the undersigned
unfortunately forgot to hand to you before you left Rue
Gide.

You will remember having expressed a
wish to have it analized in order to determine whether the
main bearings are in A.C. 2 or A.C.7 Hall's metal.Alloy.
