Dear Sirs,

We duly received yours of the 26th ult., with reference to P & R.{Sir Henry Royce} cell failures which we experienced, and we have carefully noted the contents.

We shall be much interested in your further communications with regard to the results which you obtain on the three special cells which you are making up.

In the intervening time between then and now, we have had two further failures of P & R.{Sir Henry Royce} cells in our sandwich batteries, of a very similar nature to one another and to previous failures reported.

Please find enclosed copy of our report JC.7 with reference to one of these two failures.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
