DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

Our ref 1676/P.2457.

In further reference to your esteemed order No.9092 of the 5th inst., our works people have asked us to submit to you the two samples enclosed herewith, one of which shows the flexible insulated by means of glass beads, and the other is covered with a cotton sleeve. They point out their difficulty is to get beads small enough, but if the enclosed sample with beaded flexible meets with your approval, they will be very pleased to go ahead with the brushes similarly fitted in execution of your order. If on the other hand you would prefer the cotton sleeve insulation, then this can easily be supplied. We therefore await the favour of your further remarks upon the enclosed samples, and in assuring you of every attention, we are,

Yours faithfully,
For Le Carbone,

R/WPL195
Encl Spls.
P.S. Since writing the above we have heard from our people that to avoid delay they are executing the above order with brushes as per the beaded samples, so if you have a preference for the cotton sleeve this can be noted for the execution of future orders.
