Re: Chassis No.207-AMS - Baron R.B.von Boecklin.

Please note we have issued Erection instructions this morning covering the above new order for a Short Continental Phantom 11 chassis with 'F' type/Left Hand steering, and we wish you to make special note that delivery of this chassis is required within three weeks. If there is likely to be any delay in delivery will you please let us know as Sales Dept. ought to be notified at once. We have had a previous chassis of this type i.e. Short Continental Left Hand in chassis 256-AJS.

This customer has no permanent address but he informs us that he requires the car for fast touring on the Continent and also for use in town. We also had to assure this customer that the car would be suitable for travelling in mountainous districts where steep gradients are encountered, together with high temperatures in the summer time. This customer impressed on us that if there is any evidence of boiling, he would not wish to own the car and in this connection, we would refer you to our PN{Mr Northey}12/WI.19.2.32. and your H38/MJ.20.2.32. in which latter it is stated that it should be laid down definitely that this car must have the latest radiator, having copper indented tubes and also be fitted with a louvred bonnet.

Will you please give this matter your most serious attention.

D/BP.
