Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}6/M22/11/24. The following is copy of a memo I have received from CJ. I suggest we meet on Monday morning at 10-30 to discuss this. [Signature] COPY. To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from CJ. Springs. CJ5/E21/11/24. With reference to the successful completion of 10,000 miles with the Woodhead 12 1/2% springs, what is the programme as regards replacing with these springs the springs which have been fitted to chassis and issued of different percentage of strength and design? How many Woodhead 12 1/2% springs do you propose to order to cover the above programme, and the weekly output of new chassis? There is another important point - namely, we are waiting to send out letters to people who have the right to have front wheel brakes fitted to their chassis until we know that you have suitable springs in hand for the purpose. Therefore, these should be ordered at once and in sufficient quantities. When do you expect to be in a position to deal with cars sent in for this purpose and how many a week can you manage? CJ. | ||
