Vickers}16.3.37. CHASSIS 33-EX. On being returned to the Shop for re-lining of the front brakes, it was observed that the front suspension mechanism and certain steering column details on the above car had sustained damage due to the recent road accident. The following is the extent of the damage to these details. Front Suspension Mechanism. Bottom Triangle Levers G.84289/91 - twisted badly, and Bolt G.84293 in lower triangle lever sheared. Yoke G.84414 - badly twisted. Steering Column. Splines badly twisted on Rocking Shaft E.88341. Inner Thrust Race of Roller Follower badly dented by rollers in cam bearing, due to the force of impact.
