I am returning to you herewith the sample leathers.

We should like the car to be finished in exactly the same way as 33-EX, which was a Phantom lll body built by Park Wards. This was a red body with red wing and red upholstery, of which they will have records.

We do not agree to Messrs. Park Ward taking four to five weeks' to finish off the chassis after they receive it. With our limited facilities at Derby we could mount a body completely in a week. We cannot possibly spare the chassis for four to five weeks. At the present moment it is running with another body on it and we shall not be able to remove this body, fit the wider dashboard, and send the car down to Park Ward's until we have your assurance that they are absolutely ready for it and that we shall get the car back in less than a fortnight.
