As you are aware, it has been agreed for the non-hydraulic tappets to be introduced on the 1st chassis in 'D' Series due to be sent to the Test Department week-ending January 15th, 1933. When this was decided upon at the Conference, it was mentioned by Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} that the scrap involved would be £1000. We would like to point out that the combined scrap of the Order Office and the Works will be in the neighbourhood of £1500.
