X3898 BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG31.3.21. X.3897 LUBRICATORS FOR 40/50 CAR ENGINES. We anticipate we shall shortly be recommending for standardisation, a new form of lubricator for the 40/50 cars. We have on test several types, from which grease or oil is forced into the bearings. We recommend, therefore, that the works do not get very far ahead with the standard lubricators with caps.
